How can I pay for the course?

You can pay for you course registration in several ways:

Credit Cards. We use paypal.com to process our credit card orders and you, as we, are subject to their policies. They charge us a per transaction fee for each student that pays for our courses on our site. Their payment process is secure, safe, and in 3 years of using their service, have not had ANY problems with fraud or hacking. If you have any problems with the payment process, contact us first during regular business hours EST at (813) 855-1225 or you can contact paypal's 24 hour customer service at (402) 935-7733.

Account Number. If your organization is taking several courses or several of your people taking the same course, you can set us an account with us. Contact us to set up an account by email or phone at (813) 855-1225. We will need a list of people taking & the courses they are planning to take. We will issue 1 username/password for each course, and each person will use the same username/password to bypass the payment screen and access the course registration.

Purchase Order. Approved companies can charge course registrations to a purchase order number. Contact us to set up an account by email or phone at (813) 855-1225.

Business Check. If you have done business with us in the past, we can accept business checks as payment for course registration. Contact us to set up an account by email or phone at (813) 855-1225.

When are payments due?

In general, you must pay before beginning any of the courses offered on this site. Your credit card will be charged at the time of registration. Customers with accounts will be billed monthly and are expected to settle all outstanding invoices by the due date, usually within 10 days of the invoice date, unless other arrangements have been made in advance.

Who owns by submissions?

We reserve the right to keep all material submitted to our site, including by not limited to, email messages, completed test results, suggestions, comments, transmissions, and any other material submitted to us by your or an agent acting on your behalf. We may use this material as we see fit. We will not use your material for any other purposes other than to assist in your learning experience. If we do use your material, we will credit your work, if you so desire.

What about privacy?

In general, any information that we obtain about you, including social security numbers, phone/address records, or other personal identifying information is subject to our privacy policy.

What records do you keep and share?

All records that we collect are subject to our privacy policy.

Can I withdraw?

We are a business. We are in the business to educate and teach. We typically offer material that is mandatory for professionally licensed individuals to renew their license. As a leader in continuing education, we have competition that is always trying to gain access to our site to generate ideas as to what courses they should offer next, and what information is in those courses.

Because we sell educational information, it is not possible for a student to "return" our product(s). Therefore, we DO NOT issue refunds. We will however give credit in the event you sign up for the wrong course. We do this, because we are not in business to take advantage, or to rip our customers off. We are in business to make a living, and to educate our customers in courses that assist in mandatory training.

We reserve the right to cancel the enrollment for any student that we feel has registered for purposes other than educational purposes.

When are assignments due?

We operate on international time. We define our day on UTC or EST clock. Our courses are all self scoring with a computer program. In order to complete the course and receive the course completion certificate, you MUST complete the final course test. If you are just interested in reading the course material, you will not have any proof of course completion. In the event you do not receive a passing score on the final test, you must contact us to reset the testing process before you can retake the test. We allow you to re-test the first time FREE of charge. Each testing attempt after the first is charged at $10.00 per attempt.

Who is responsible for my learning?

You are. It is your responsibility to learn the material in this course to your desired level of knowledge. It is not the facilitator's duty to teach you. Your facilitator and our company can help you, but only you can learn the material to a level of successfully passing the final course test.

Is this course graded?

We only assign grades upon the completion of the final course test. This score is only used to determine a pass/fail for the final course test, nothing else. We use this information as indicated in our privacy policies.

How are grades calculated?

Scores are calculated as a percentage based on the number of questions on the final course test. If the test has 100 questions, each question would be worth 1 point or 1%. If the test has 25 questions each question would be worth 4 points or 4%, etc. Each test is made up of a number of questions appropriate for the number of continuing education hours assigned to it. Final course tests are generated at random from a bank of questions made up in advance. This prevents dishonesty or cheating. Every test is unique both in the questions assigned and the order the questions are asked.

If you have any questions about our policies or our company, please feel free to contact us by phone at (813) 855-1225 or by email at webmaster@floridaceus.com.
